Our Estate grown Shiraz sits on Blocks 10 & 11. This section sits atop our northwest corner of vines; mostly south oriented and in perfect view of our Restaurant and Cellar Door. With wines dating back to 1998, these award-winning blocks of Shiraz continue to deliver well balanced “old world” style red wine. Summer of 2018 held back the rain and allowed longer ripening periods for the perfect Black Top Shiraz vintage.

Notes: Late harvest year allowed by a dryer ripening period for this vintage. Matured 2 years in French and American hogsheads.
Appearance: Medium Garnet
Tasting Notes: This vintage now displays subtle notes of leather and sweet tobacco. Dried fruit is very present in the form of cherries, blackberries and dark plums. Complimented by notes of thyme, pepper, aniseed, and cinnamon. A generous char on the pallet and the cherry on top; an integrated velvety tannin and long lingering cherry aroma.
